We’re Emily and Kate and we’ve been swapping stories with each other for six years. Most of our communications are conducted through tagged Instagram posts, forwarded newsletters and late-night whatsapps with links to just-found articles, new podcasts and rediscovered books. We both believe that life is too short for bad stories, so we’ve resolved to create better ones.
We worked in magazine publishing together for five years. Emily became Brand Director of SUITCASE Magazine and launched their media agency as Content Director, while Kate went on to become Editor-in-Chief, as well as a freelance writer. Today, our dynamic of marketing and editorial – of strategy and storytelling – is the basis of our partnership at Sonder & Tell. We’re flexible with how we work – we can take an entire project off your hands, create custom teams of freelancers or become an extension of your in-house team.
